Thanks! A lot of brain storming but it’s working! It’s a dq250 FWD box, the one currently fitted is from a GTi golf. And yes, custom adapter plate and half shaft to keep the drive shafts equal to reduce torque steer!

@@jackstrathdee a meth kit can give them sort of gains, if properly mapped in but even then your asking alot.

Yeh that’s exactly what I did. Just don’t go mega on injector size and you’ll see a nice gain, always recommend getting things checked out, I had mine on the dyno to make sure.

there are many parameters that need to be met like the car must be fully warmed up 80 degrees oil temp, have traveled at least ten miles, transmission temp not too high etc. It is a total pain in the ass in reality.

@@ahmedabdulwahed20 right, that’s why I said a few seconds lol, this guy held it for like half a second and didn’t let the boost build.

All depends on available traction, sure if you have sticky tyres and nice smooth tar, let the boost build but I was doing a demo so sitting for 3 seconds wouldn’t serve any real purpose, this was more for the settings the car has to be in to engage it.

@@freshfruit23 be interested to see if you think the base maps supplied make any difference? Iv always heard you need it properly set up on a dyno to get the gains. Iv had the bike for years now and semi fancy a change so probably wouldn’t spend the money on one now.

If you're going to power commander it, you'll want to get the smog blanking plates to get proper fueling in the tune. Without tuning, putting the plates on will reduce the amount of popping too because it stops putting cool air into exhaust side of the cylinder. They do it to reduce emissions but plays havoc with tuning sensors 👍

@@rallycross5728 it can if you have a 4wd gear box/transfer case. It was about 450bhp there

@@jackstrathdee Do you know where I can find such a 4wd gearbox? which one would fit this engine? I am thinking about a project for Fiesta mk7 which will have a 2.0 Zetec with 4wd drive but I do not know where to get something like this if it is possible to build on Ford parts, for example

@@rallycross5728 There is only 1 ford gearbox that will fit and thats from a mk5 escort rs2000 , and you cant run much more than 200bhp or it will blow up. Quaife, MakTrak, Sadev, hewland will all make you one for about £15,000gbp
